Hi,
I'm using Windows and I am trying to use PT3 to display videos for a perceptual experiment. That's ma first time using PT3 and it looks really powerfull, but I'm stuck with an annoying problem...
Basically, whenever I try to display a video, it slightly freezes at the beginning and at the end (basically the first and last frames seem to appear a bit too long)>
I was wondering if anyone knew how to display videos in real-time.
My videos are 1240x900 and are about 3MB for 3s (30fps). They are computer generated videos and I need this quality, but I do not expect 3MB for 91 frames to be a problem :S, especially as they previsouly ran fine in another software.
Also my computer has a Intel Core i7 930 @2.80Hz, 18GB of RAM, a NVidia GTX 580 and runs Windows 7. So specs should not be a problem. I have a dual screen though, but things seem to crash when I run with a single screen.
I also tried it on a couple of other computers (lower specs though) and I have the same problem.
I based my code for loading videos on the provided examples, but I can also post my code online.
Thanks for the help...
